Speaking is a major L2 bottleneck–hard to practice and hard to assess. Talio is built to handle both by providing conversation practice for university and intensive language programs, with AI-assisted assignment creation to save teachers prep time. Students practice conversations with instant pronunciation and word choice feedback. Instructors see analytics on every student attempt as well as student trends. Currently used in Mandarin classrooms at an R1 university, and in beta testing with Cantonese, German, Spanish, and French professors.
