For student participants traveling to UGA:
Hotel accommodations
The Tech Center has reserved a private room for you at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel which is in the same building as our Hackathon venue. Your lodging is covered by the Tech Center for the duration of the Hackathon (arrival date April 9, departure date April 12). Please do not book a room on your own, as this will result in a partial forfeiture of your travel award.
The Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel is located on the University of Georgia (UGA) campus in Athens, GA.
Hackathon participants who stay at a different hotel are NOT eligible for full or partial reimbursement for their lodging costs and risk forfeiture of their travel award.
Check-in & check-out
Participating students will be able to check in at 4:00 pm on April 9. A credit card and ID are required for check-in. Check-out time is at 11:00 am on April 12.
Room policies
Participants are responsible for expenses such as incidentals or charges for any damages.
