Information and Misinformation in Post-Soviet Media

The Russian Flagship is pleased to announce an interactive event for students of Russian on (dis)information in Russian-language media.
The event will begin with a presentation to help you to develop your critical media literacy skills in Russian, followed by small-group discussions of rhetorical strategies used in a text that you’ll receive in advance.
This special event is for students of Russian in second-year Russian courses or above (or at the Intermediate Mid level of proficiency in Russian or higher). The event is only open to students at colleges and universities with a Russian Flagship program.
