 About the presenter:

Dr. Ngan Ha Ta has been teaching secondary-level Chinese at independent schools for over 12 years and has presented at various local, regional, and national language conferences since 2014 on topics such as high-leverage teaching practices and technology integration in language instruction. She has been affiliated with STARTALK, a National Security Agency (NSA)-funded program for critical languages since 2017, serving as the Lead Instructor for both the student programs and teaching-training programs. Her doctoral research centered on online professional development for language teachers in the U.S. She currently serves as the Director of Global and Language Initiatives at ‘Iolani School, supporting the World Language Faculty in adopting best practices and integrating global learning opportunities in their curriculum.
